License the footage, animation and sound you already own
Finished films, raw takes, B-roll, game capture and recorded audio. If you own it outright and it is well made, AI labs may license it through Troveo AI. You keep ownership.

General B-roll and talking-head video still qualify, but buyers have slowed on general video because it costs a lot to train on. Specialised and premium material moves first.
What makes footage worth licensing
- High resolution. 1080p at least; 4K is better.
- Clear subjects. Well framed, in focus and steady.
- Range. Different scenes, settings, people and light.
- Care in the shooting. Professional or carefully shot material moves first.
- Clean audio, wherever there is audio.
- Full rights. Material you own outright or hold every right to.
Getting terabytes off the shelf
Most libraries arrive by upload. You get a private upload link and use Cyberduck, a free app for Mac and Windows that queues whole folders, picks up again after a dropped connection and runs overnight.
If uploading is not practical, ship the drives. Our drive upload services can do the transfer for you.
Questions media owners ask
Will my footage be published anywhere?
No. Troveo AI licenses it privately to AI labs for training, under non-disclosure agreements. Nothing is listed publicly.
Do I keep ownership?
Yes. You license the material; you do not sell it. The agreement sets out how buyers may use it.
Does old or unused footage count?
Often, yes. Raw takes, extra camera angles and B-roll that never made the cut can qualify, as long as you own it and it is well shot.
How much will I earn?
We do not quote figures. Every deal is scoped by Troveo AI with its buyers, and your agreement states your share before you sign.
How long does it take?
Processing takes one to two weeks once your files arrive. Deals themselves take weeks or months, because buyers review in batches and approve through their own legal teams.
